discover the magic of our remote hideaway
Fìor Sgeir (pronounced “FEE-or skirr”) Cottage lies tucked away off the main tourist track, but is easily reached from the Skye Bridge or the Mallaig-Armadale Ferry. A single-track road loops across wild, heather-covered moorland with stunning views of the Cuillins and the Knoydart Hills, before entering the magical oak and birch woods that give our area its special character. Fìor Sgeir Cottage is five minutes’ walk from Tokavaig Bay. The cottage looks onto the ruins of Dunscaith Castle, and has glorious and ever-changing views across Loch Eishort to the Cuillin mountains, and the Isle of Canna further out to sea.
