A perfect house!

We had a wonderful time here and felt at home at an instant. The views are astonishing and there is much to do and see in the surrounding area. Lots of sweet sheep and wild deer roam the hills and make the feeling even more cosy. We missed absolutely nothing and couldn’t think of anything which would be amiss. Would love to stay longer and even more to come again – can only wholeheartedly recommend this perfect house! Max & Darlene, from Austria

Words cannot describe

Words cannot describe how beautiful and wonderful this incredible space and its surroundings are! Dorothy was a fabulous friendly host. The views are beyond amazing when all of the mountains are visible, and still awesome even when not! We had a perfect, relaxing stay at this incredible cottage. Duncan, from Shrewsbury, UK

Loved my stay

Loved my stay in Tokavaig. Andy and Dorothy have created such a beautiful and comfortable apartment with amazing views towards the Cuillin mountains. It’s such peaceful quiet area, so perfect if you’re looking to unwind, explore the local (rocky) beaches, and enjoy the wonderful views and scenery. Jane, from UK

We’ll book again

We enjoyed our stay very much. The cottage is very clean and well equipped and Dorothy's communication prior to our visit was excellent. The location and views from the cottage are beautiful. Having the EV charger was great and the process for using and paying for it was simple. We'll book again. Michael, from UK

Beautiful

Beautiful little cottage in even more beautiful surroundings. Well equipped with everything to make us feel at home straight away. Can’t thank Dorothy and Andy enough for letting us have a slice of heaven for a few days! Thank you both, we loved your place and would definitely return! Max

A haven

This cottage is a haven. It is far away from the hustle and bustle of the real world. The views and wildlife are incredible. The place is spotless and well appointed and comfortable. And the hosts were kind and responsive. I did not want to leave! PS - Be mindful that this place is a little remote off a six mile one lane/two-way traffic road with frequent farm animal delays (delightful!). Be sure you understand how to properly drive on these roads. They are beautiful but can be a challenge at first. But definitely make the effort! You won't regret it.   Erika, New Hampshire/USA

Perfect retreat

Everything about the cottage was perfect for us. It is comfortable, warm and well equipped and it certainly does have glorious sea and mountain views. We were so lucky to have 5 days of sun, no rain and clear skies in the second half of April and the sunsets and starry nights were outstanding. Dorothy and Andy are very friendly and helpful.   Thom Y.

A wonderful few days

We had a wonderful few days at Fior Sgeir cottage. It is a beautiful property with stunning views and all the comforts needed to have a stress free retreat whatever the weather. Situated in a peaceful spot with the coast nearby there is plenty to discover close to the house. Also a great base for exploring the rest of Skye. Dorothy and Andy are very welcoming hosts. Only wish we could have stayed longer! Anne, from Scotland

An amazing stay

Had the most amazing stay in this beautiful place in Tokavaig. Fantastic, high-spec accommodation and brilliant host. Warm, comfy, well equipped, cosy with the fire burning in the evening, beautiful views, peace and tranquility. Lots to do in Skye and this is a great place to stay and explore from. Lee, from London

Loved the cottage!

Loved the cottage! Cosy and fantastic views towards the black cuillin on clear days. Had everything we needed and we both slept incredibly well as it was so peaceful. The EV charger was a super helpful addition with all the driving and exploring that we did. Definitely will be back in the future! Clare, from UK

Amazing Place

We’ve had five nights in this cottage. We were surprised about the landscape driving towards the cottage; lakes, hills and sea. We saw sheep cows and deer. The cottage was a perfect gift to explore the Isle of Sky. Wood for the fireplace, and fresh made cake. We where a bit early but very welcomed by Dorothy and Andy. The view looks like a moving painting. I have never seen so many stars in the sky. We went to bed before 9 and slept till 7 like a baby. We lived the history of the oldest castle of Skye we tried to see otters but we where blessed to see many birds. There a lots of suggestions you can do which you can find in a lot of books and travel magazines. We had amazing weather and did many hikes. We will definitely come back to this beautiful place. Peaceful property with stunning views

This was our second time staying at this property and it was just as good as we remembered. The views from the property are stunning and it was wonderful to be somewhere so remote and peaceful. The property is very well equipped and we would highly recommend staying here.   Helen M., from UK

Lovely Days in Tocavaig

We enjoyed everything. The way to the cottage was a real advanture and a lot of fun, driving on a single road track. The arrival then was stunning. The cottage is just lovely. Very clean, everything works perfectly, the view is amazing and most important everything gets dry and warm again with the fire place. Tours around the cottage in tocavaig are beautiful. We started right infront of the door. I stop writing here, because there is no end. We can highly recommend the cottage. Thank you so much. Michelle H., from Berlin

Paradise for nature and Skye lovers

We had the absolute pleasure to spend one week in this wonderful cottage offered by Dorothy and Andy on the beautiful Sleat peninsula. The cottage is a perfect size for two people, the bed very comfortable with a good mattress and the kitchen excellently equipped for preparing your own meals. The view over to the Cuillins is stunning. We were very lucky with the weather so could enjoy all Sleat but also Skye in general had to offer which is plenty- we definitely have to come back. A boat trip with Misty Isle Boat Trips from Elgol was one of our highlights. Birte G., from Germany
